Here at Tips.Bet our live betting tips are among the most popular. This is not a surprise to us because people like to place bets on a football match as it is in progress. It is really exciting to watch a big football match unfold and place different bets as the game goes on. You can watch a match on TV and then place a bet on what you think will happen.

Sometimes you will see live betting called in-play betting. On the Tips.Bet website we have a section called “Live Tips”. We also have a “Livescore” section where you can see the scores of the matches being played in real-time.

Why should you place live bets?

It is easy to find bookmakers that will offer a number of bets on the outcome of a football match. They will provide odds for a home win, a draw, an away win and if they offer Asian handicap odds then you will see these displayed as well.

The odds will not change for these “outcome” bets and once the game has started, they will not be available any more. With live betting you will see that the odds will change depending on what is happening in the match.

For example, one of the teams could be strong favorites to win a game and the odds will not appeal to most football betters as they will be far too short. But anything can happen in football, and the strong team could find themselves a goal down against the odds. When something like this happens, the odds for the strong team to win will improve.

Live betting is a lot more exciting than conventional outcome betting. This is because the events that take place in a game can drastically change the odds. Goals being scored will always change the odds, but the odds will also change when a referee shows a red card or a key player is substituted due to an injury.

You just never know what is going to happen in a game and you can often find higher value bets with a live game. We know that live betting is very popular so we provide different predictions during the matches.

Here is an example. You may want to place a bet on a match between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur from our predictions for today. These two teams are next to each other in the league table and their recent form has been very similar. A draw may seem the most logical bet but you know that draws between these two teams are rare.

So rather than placing an outcome bet you decide to watch the game and see how it unfolds. You observe that one of the teams has started better than the other so you look to place a bet on them to win the match. If one team goes behind and you consider that the other was lucky, you can bet on the losing team to come back and win the match.

How we provide our live bet predictions

When you go to our Live Tips section you will see the matches that are currently live and then 4 columns to the right. These are HA which stands for half-time Asian, HG which stands for half-time goal line, FA which is full-time Asian and FG which is full-time goal line.

Our predictions for each of these bet types will appear underneath in numerical format and could be a positive or negative number. Directly underneath each prediction you will see the best odds available from a bookmaker. When you click on these odds you will go to this bookmaker and you can place your bet.

Our Live Tips section explained

You will see the page refresh a number of times and the predictions and the odds may change depending on what is happening in a match. There is also the choice of classic live bet predictions and deluxe live bet predictions.

If you choose the Classic option then you are going to see the statistics for the whole match so far. Some people only want to see the statistics for the last five minutes of a match and these are available to you with the Deluxe option.
